This is LilyPad Button Board Switch from the category Components | Switch.

With this board, we wanted to give the user a button that was extremely subtle and had no sharp edges. When you push a button, it shuts; when you let go, it opens (momentary push button).

Large connection pads were cleverly incorporated into each LilyPad to enable sewing into clothes. There are many different input, output, power, and sensor boards available. They can even be washed!
