A unique switch called a collision switch can be used to change the circuits closed status. 0 to 24 v is the appropriate voltage range.

(2) The common terminal is connected to the common negative pole, the B terminal is connected to the positive pole of the B circuit, and the a terminal is connected to the positive pole of the a circuit.

(3) When the metal handle is pressed, circuit an is powered off and circuit B is connected if circuit an is connected and circuit B is off.
