A MOSFET is an electronic device that has good switching capabilities. It is frequently used in circuits for things like lighting dimmers, motor drives, and power supply switching. Another type of module with switching capabilities is the relay.

A 4-channel MOSFET switch was created. Up to four sets of electronic switches for controlling various circuit blocks can be supplied by it. Due to its limitations, MOSFETs can only be used to control DC circuits, such as DC-LED displays and similar devices. They are not appropriate for controlling AC circuits.

It can be used to regulate a 100V/33A DC circuit in some extreme circumstances. The controllable DC voltage is reportedly greater than 9V, though.
